Pyramid Model

Here’s an Aug. 26th attempt at creating a pyramid model with the three layers that are present in the Pyramids on the Giza Plateau. We found a Discovery Channel and a NGS video very helpful and interesting. A trip to the grocery store provided a math lesson as an added bonus. We used sugar cubes for the first interior pyramid, chocolate Twizzlers cut to size for the second, filler layer, and graham crackers to simulate the red limestone. The red frosting was an added bonus for a sweet treat!

Taking a break from Egypt to travel down to Nags Head, NC for a family beach trip with the cousins.
